Operation Khanyisa and TLC aim to remind consumers not to steal electricity

‘Keep our country powerful!’ was the underlying message conveyed to consumers visiting Ackerman stores in LSM B and C shopping malls during a three month targeted Operation Khanyisa campaign in partnership with TLC, Unlimited’s washroom advertising specialist.

TLC joint MD Brett Tucker says; “The campaign was designed to remind consumers that stealing electricity is a crime and that known thefts should be reported via an anonymous SMS. “The campaign forms part of a broader ongoing Energy Loss Management programme and through the imagery on our A4 Classic and A3 Fashion frames we were able to convey targeted messaging to consumers.

“Our washroom and fashion frames enable companies to effectively convey a targeted campaign to a defined market in an area where dwell time is longer than usual. Here the message is absorbed more readily by consumers and remains top of mind long after the consumer has left the shopping centre,” adds Tucker.
