Sanlam turns to Z-CARD® to target students

Sanlam is now offering students who are at least in their fourth academic year of study and under the age of 30, Cobalt Solutions for Student Professionals. A portfolio of financial solutions to ensure that all parents’ have peace of mind, it will allow student to not worry while they study for their chosen profession.

To get this message across to final year students, Sanlam recently selected a Z-CARD®, printed in English on one side and Afrikaans on the other. The national marketing campaign for Sanlam’s Cobalt Solutions for Student Professionals runs from March to September.

The Z-CARD® was booked and designed by Sanlam’s agency, Out of the Blue Creative Communication Solutions.

“The campaign highlights the importance of insurance cover for the soon-to-be professional, as our solutions are specifically created for them,” says Erna Wetzel, brand manager, Sanlam Professional Market. The cards are being distributed to students via talks and campus activations, as part of a campaign involving Financial Literacy, which is sponsored by the Sanlam Foundation.

“We chose the Z-CARD® as it is more funky for this target group and small enough to fit into a wallet for a longer marketing life,” adds Wetzel.
