TLC promotes 48-hour protection by Garnier Deodorant

It’s a common insight from the gym – after a hard workout, gym goers hit the showers and re-apply deodorant. Maximising the advantages of a captive audience, Unlimited’s lifestyle media specialists TLC have signed Garnier to advertise in its gym holding.

During a month long campaign Garnier Deodorant is getting its message across through a combination of TLC’s advertising platforms at four Mega Planet Fitness gyms in Douglasdate, the Wanderers, Rivonia and Bedfordview in Johannesburg.

“By placing the advertising message in the heart of the gym, Garnier deodorant gets its 48 hour protection message across to perspiring customers,” says Brett Tucker, TLC’s joint MD. “There is no better place for an anti-perspirant deodorant than literally at the coal face.”

The advertising campaign is spread across TLC’s track billboards strategically placed within the gyms and on pull up banners at gym entrances.

“We are able to offer brands unique advertising opportunities to reach their desired target market,” adds Tucker, “and in this campaign Garnier Deodorant reaches 4000 active members daily who all reach for an anti-perspirant deodorant before leaving the gym. We are able to ensure Garnier is top of mind throughout the gym session so that when consumers think of purchasing a deodorant, Garnier is top of mind.”
